EXP-301: Windows User Mode Exploit Development

Windows User Mode Exploit Development (EXP-301) is a course that introduces learners to the basics of modern exploit development. Despite its foundational nature, it is classified at the 300 level due to its reliance on significant knowledge of assembly and low-level programming. It begins with basic buffer overflow attacks and progresses to teaching the skills necessary to bypass critical security mitigations protecting enterprises. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, learners earn the OffSec Exploit Developer (OSED) certification. The OSED is one of three certifications that comprise the OSCE certification, along with the OSEP for advanced penetration testing and the OSWE for web application security.
